The thrill haunt is perfect for anyone who loved the King of Pop. A dedication to Michael Jackson, it offers everything from the late star's video on a 20-by-40-foot screen to monsters doing the "Thriller" dance. Inside, the haunt offers a lot. You are taken on a 3-D ride, entering a huge vortex that might be one of the best. There are dark, claustrophobia areas, severed body parts, coffins and more than 50 actors to shake you up.- Milwaukee Journal Sentinel 2009
AWESOME!! Worth every penny!! We'll be back next year. We try new places each year and this is on our EVERY year list now. The place is Huge, Every room looked GREAT, Scares around every corner--hint--if you want them to pick on someone, be sure they over hear you say that persons name!! The Micheal Jackson video and the dancers were great entertainment while in line. The music inside was great. No complaints!!- denise
Hauntfest is a must-go every year. Its different every year. Different rooms different themes. I love what they did with the skull in the beginning to match the theme. The Theme is Neverland but there really isn't much at all that has to do with Michael Jackson in the house at all. The website has a bunch of different characters on it and tells how they associate with Neverland so thats a plus. Anyways some rooms were really cool. I really like the big spinning room it makes you feel like your spinning and about to fall over. another room i enjoyed was the movie room. They play Michael Jackson's Ghosts and there are couches... Beware dont try to sit on them the ghouls get pretty cranky and come at you like banshees and take your souls for all eternity! Vampires and Zombies run wild through the haunt your life is threatened in every room! Enter at your own risk. This haunt was amazing! The actors did an awesome job. they had us running through the rooms. we barely got a chance to see what the rooms looked like. Hauntfest really knows how to put on a good show. It is a must-go. The best place to get your scare on this fall.- jordan112
The day I went was quite busy. I thought I would be bored by the wait, but they have videos playing on a big movie screen and a DJ in a tent which made the time fly by. Also there were dancers that put on a awesome show with a Michael Jackson tribute. The haunted house had me jumping, flinching, and screaming. I think Ill go again just to see all of the creepy, scary stuff I missed the first time- Jane Sanders
This was one of the best haunted houses I have been to in years (and I have been to a lot.) I went with my 15 year old daughter and her 15 year old friend (who had never been to a haunted house in her life.) My daughter and I both agreed that it was the best haunted house we have been to. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we had to work hard to keep the friend from exiting the haunted house early. She was TERRIFIED and had a look of genuine terror on her face the whole time! The actors were wonderful, and the many different scenes were well done. It was not one of those short 10 minute haunted houses, we were in there for 20 minutes. There were pitch black, claustrophobic parts (including 1 crawling part,) and a vortex that physically affected us all. We were going to go to another haunted house that night, but decided that the friend had been too traumatized by this one! Next weekend!- halloween 2009
This has been the best haunt i have been to so far. I have more to see. It was nice to see someone actually supporting mj. I liked how the rooms were well detailed and there was alot more to go through this year. My favorite room was the one with neon paint on the walls and floor. I got scared a few times but i have been going to haunts every year for about 7 years. so im used to it. but dont let that prevent you from coming because i guarantee you will get frightend because i did a couple of times. This is a must do event.- thatonedude 2009

Overall it was a great haunt provided on the State Fair grounds. I have never been to this one and I enjoyed my experience a great deal. Of course, it always helps when you're with a group of guys who scream at everything... I enjoyed a good number of the actors' performances. They did a great job of scaring us... I never really checked my watch to see how long it was - but I was happy with the length of this haunt. I'd say roughly 20 minutes or so. The nice thing is that there's no "down time." Your senses are constantly being teased and tormented in this house. There is constant movement and terrorization. It's great! - katie_kiesow13 2009
This high-powered haunt starts with an incredibly rough elevator ride up to the third floor. Darkness is the key, some parts are so dark that you have to keep your hand straight ahead to keep from walking into a wall. In each of the dozen or so rooms, you encounter something a little bit different, from an incredibly long squeeze through a "Claustrophobia Room" to a "Hillbilly Room" that would repulse even the Beverly Hillbillies. Make sure you peek into the outhouse - but don't get too close the smell is overpowering. In the "Strobe Room," a creature bungee-jumps at you, screaming and growling in the adult equivalent of a baby-bouncer. With the flashing lights, it looks as if he's going to snatch you. The 20-foot, multicolored vortex is really cool. In the "Psycho Ward," a woman trapped behind the glass keeps telling you that she's not crazy and that she had to kill because the voices in her head tell her to. Just when you think she's secured, she's standing right in front of you with bloody hands asking you if she can borrow your heart. It was more than I expected. It kept you guessing a lot, that's for sure. In the pitch-black maze, I had no idea of where I was going.
BEST EVER! From the second i bought my ticket it was awesome. Got attacked by creepy girls, a monster with a chainsaw, and some really freaky little alien clown, all before i even went in. The inside was so cool. I think i almost ****** myself a couple times. lol. I especially love the graveyard and the crazy girl in the psyco room. Ton of awesome effects too. Even though it was 15 bucks, it was definately worth every penny. P.S. Watch out for the walls!- smokey53212 2008
This is Rick's and my thing, once the boat is put away, we live for October and the haunted events. This one was TOP NOTCH, The Clarksville TN slaughterhouse is still number one at a 10, and this comes in a close second at a “9.7.” The layout and the maze and the structures you encounter inside are superb! The very first room had a Great animatronics skeleton head, which talked, chattered, and spewed out the rules. He was great. This was one of those places I could have done several times in a row.
The most unique for the haunted house was the rotating circle that you had to walk through, you get very dizzy but it was very cool! The wait area was awesome! I loved how there were characters chasing you around.. they really got into it! I thought the actors did a great job! I could tell that they really got into it and I liked how well the makeup was done. - Hauntchick 2005
I was really surprised how different the two felt and looked. The inside was almost bright and bouncy but in that clowns-eating-your-face away. Yet dark and creepy too. Oh, be careful of the hole in the floor. The Pirate Cove looked so dark and creepy. I liked the story line, my group felt like we were part of things. It was fun to be part of the hanging. There was nowhere SAFE! At least that is what I felt like. I started off in the middle, I tried the back and wasn't even safe in the front!
