A: Hauntfest will prove to be the best place to go for your “fright experience” this Fall! It’s two haunts for the price of one, on two floors– and at 20,000 square feet it’s the largest and only heated Haunt in Wisconsin!
A: There are two ways to get tickets:
A: Tickets are $15.00 general admission for all ages, all days. Or you can skip the wait with our RVIP speed pass option. RVIP tickets are $25.00. Group rates are also available online. Click our TICKETS section for more info. Student nights are October 17th (Thursday), 23rd (Wednesday), 24th (Thursday) and the 30th (Wednesday). Students save $5.00 on general admission tickets with a VALID student ID. page.
A: The “Lights On” Tours are special periods of time where we leave all the interior lights in our haunt on so that parents can take the little ones through for a screaming good time. During the “Lights On” Tours Children are $5 and parents are FREE! Perfect for kids of all ages, but note that while this version of the haunt is significantly LESS scary, many scary elements still remain.
A: Children’s lights on tours are every Saturday and Sunday of operation, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Prices are $5.00 per child and parents go free with their children.
A: There isn’t one! No Line! No Hassle! As much as we like pain, the dreaded line is one torture we don’t want to put you through. So we’ve gone to a number system. After getting your ticket you can spend time in the indoor waiting area for your number to come up. Once it does we’ll punch your ticket… metaphorically speaking.
A: Yes! Student Days are October 17th, 23rd, 24th & the 30th. Students bring your VALID school ID and get $5.00 off the general admission price to the haunt! (Not valid with any other coupons or offers)
A: No. It takes just as much effort to scare them, and they get just as much enjoyment. But, parents with little ones who scare easily might want to check out our “Lights On” tours.
A: Well, we’ve done away with the physical lines, so in that sense no. What it does is let you skip having to spend any time waiting in the indoor waiting area at all. Yes you read that right. No Wait At All. You go directly from the ticket booth to the haunt. Period.
A: We’re back at the State Fair Park — 1200 S. 84th Street – Gate 4!
A: State Fair parking is $5 but there is plenty of free parking on city streets in the area. (PLEASE be courteous to our neighbors)
A: Hauntfest is an indoor and heated haunt so one thing you don’t have to fear is the weather!
A: No. The haunt is a no-touch, no tolerance policy event. The customers and actors are instructed not to come in direct physical contact with each other. This is for the safety of both parties and the haunt itself. Touch Nothing, and Nothing will touch you! This includes scenery and props. We put allot of effort into our haunt, and when customers come through and disturb things, it lessens the experience for those coming after you. So please be courteous and enjoy the experience!!
A: No. We have found that personality has more impact on a person’s experience than age. We’ve seen four year olds go through without blinking and forty year olds who simply can’t take the terror. Parents please use your best judgement of your child’s personality when determining whether or not you think that they can handle this event. We suggest that children under the age of seven be be accompanied by an adult, however.
Parents keep in mind that there are live actors in the haunt so it can be more real and intense than movies. NEVER force a child (or adult) who doesn’t want to go through the Haunt. Don’t forget to check out our “Lights On” haunt if you’re scared of the dark. There will be no refunds if you leave the haunt before the end.
A: Come early in our season or on Thursdays and Sundays; the show is less crowded during these days. The best times during the weekends are Fridays at 7pm, or Saturdays at 6pm. This is as soon as the ticket booth opens, and we can guarantee that your wait will be shorter.
A: Sorry, but no. We figure if we frightened you to the point that you can’t continue, we’ve done our job.
A: Yes, special rates for groups and families are available online only! Go to Tickets for more information.
A: Opening is Friday, October 11th at 7:00pm! For further dates and times check our calendar.
A: There will be food, drink and snacks available onsite. Music on the Move Plus will have DJs playing the music you love in Killy’s Killer Karnival. There will also be roaming monsters to enhance the ghoulish atmosphere. Fly like a witch on our new Zip Line attraction! Try to stay on the Possessed Pumpkin! And don’t forget and the Last Ride! The fun begins as soon as you arrive!
